The Learning Curve at the National Archive will allow you to search by subject and by dates. There is a comprehensive coverage of all aspects of the Second World War, the preparations made for it, how children were evacuated to safety; how women played their part in the war and all the historical background. There is also extensive coverage of the First World War. It gives details of which key stage in the curriculum each aspect is taught.
